FAQs
How do I pay my fees?
Fees are due on a termly basis. Terms are usually 6-7 weeks in length and fall within the Lincolnshire Schools term dates. We accept card payments at the studio, and online bank transfers - ask Kat for the bank details. We do not accept cash payments anymore.
Where do I go when my child is taking classes?
We do not currently have a waiting area for parents at our venue. There are a number of small cafes in walking distance as well as a set of local shops/bakeries. There are ample windows around the studio to observe elements of the class from outside if you wish.
I have a complaint, who do I contact?
Please contact Kat on kat@elev8danceacademy.co.uk.
Can I sit in a class and watch my child?
We do not permit parents to enter the studio and watch their child in the dance classes. In our years of experience we find that this actually hinders the dancers concentration and engagement, often causing a distraction for multiple children in the class. We want to foster independence, and trust in the teaching team, so saying goodbye at drop off is the best way to achieve this. There is also a health and safety issue in that we do not have the studio space to accommodate seated adults in addition to the intense physical exercise taking place in the studio during classes. We occasionally have scheduled viewing classes where parents are invited in to observe a section of the class but official invitations for these are sent at the discretion of the Academy Principal. Annual shows are the best way to enjoy your child's hard work and progression with their dancing.
I am going to be absent, what shall I do?
Let us know via email as soon as possible on kat@elev8danceacademy.co.uk or text on 07850588239.
I am not returning to the Dance Academy, what do I need to do?
Please let Kat know as soon as possible if you plan to leave/not return. This is so we can plan appropriately for classes, and offer your space to the next child on the waiting list. If you leave part way through a term we are unable to offer any refunds on partial term fees
